About this game
Yaoguard is a tower defense game drawn from ancient Chinese mythology. Waves of beasts and demons march toward the Great Wall, and you defend it with a team of legendary guardian heroes. Pick a hero, tap a spot on the map to deploy them, and use their skills at the right moment to hold the line.
Each hero fights differently, so the order and position you place them in matters as much as speed. Levels unlock across a map, and you can speed up a wave once your defence is set. It is played in portrait with taps, which suits a phone, and works with a mouse on a computer too.
Tips
- Place your strongest hero where the path bends; enemies spend longer in range there.
- Hold skills for big waves or boss enemies instead of using them on the first few beasts.
- Use the speed button only once your defence is in place.
