Lumen Descent

About this game
Lumen Descent is a precision platformer set in a dark, forgotten tower. You carry a small light down through twelve floors, jumping gaps, dashing past hazards and dropping through platforms on the way down. Checkpoints along each floor mean a mistake costs you seconds, not the whole climb.
The challenge is timing: jumps and dashes have to be exact, and later floors chain them together. The art is moody and atmospheric, with secrets hidden off the main path. On a phone you play with on-screen controls; on a computer, the keyboard gives the most precise feel.
Tips
- Dash at the top of a jump to cover the widest gaps.
- Activate every checkpoint you pass; they save a lot of replaying.
- Watch a hazard's rhythm for a moment before you move through it.

Questions and answers
How many floors are there?
Twelve floors, each with its own obstacles and checkpoints.
Is it hard?
It is a precision platformer, so timing matters. Checkpoints keep a mistake from sending you far back.
Should I play on a phone or a computer?
Both work. Phones get on-screen controls; a keyboard gives the most precise control.
